ON MOTHER'S DAY

~ John Robert's Spa partners with Rainbow Babies and Children's to give back to these deserving moms ~

Cleveland, Ohio - April 27, 2010 - All parents would love a day away from their hectic lives where they could relax and rejuvenate. As Mother's Day approaches, John Roberts Spa is providing special "Mother's Day Makeovers" as a gift to four special Moms who spend their lives with a sick child at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital.

On Thursday, May 6^th, these four Moms will begin a day of pampering at 7:30 in the morning. First, they'll be treated to a luxurious ride in a limousine donated by Mr. Formal. Then they'll be taken to the Mayfield location of John Roberts Spa (6727 Eastgate Drive - Eastgate Shopping Center, Mayfield Heights, OH, 44124). After they are checked in at the Spa, they will begin their relaxation, rejuvenation and revitalization with a full day of services, including a massage, facial, haircut and style, manicure, pedicure and makeup application.

Spa professionals have a monumental job with these special Moms and their Mother's Day Makeovers: They will do everything they can to pamper these Moms as they try to allow them to temporarily take their minds off their sick children and receive a gift for themselves.  "This is such a rewarding job, especially on a day like today when I can see that we'll play a part in making these Mom's put some focus on themselves and give them some much needed pampering away from the hospital," said Denise Sunsjara, esthetician.

"We can't even imagine how hard it is for these women to live with a sick child day in and day out and we are in admiration of their love and dedication to their kids," said Sandy Hoyt, Director of Artistic Education. "If we could do any small thing to give these ladies a gift for themselves after all they've done for their children - and maybe even send them back to their child's bedside feeling refreshed - we'd feel like this was a successful day."

This will be the 11^th year John Robert's Spa is offering Mother's Day Makeover for ladies with children at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. In fact, the partnership with the hospital and John Roberts Spa through various events and fundraisers started back in 1993!

One of last year's recipients of a Mother's Day Makeover told the John Roberts staff: "After sleeping on a hospital bed for the last two months and thinking about nothing other than my child's illness, it is just nice to sit down and relax."

Coming up later in the month the partnership continues: On May 18, 2010, the spa will provide hair styling and makeup for all the models at a luncheon and fashion show called "Spring into Style." They'll also provide goodie bags and raffle items for all attendees. John Roberts Spa is excited again to assist in this event organized by Circles of Friends of Bratenahl and Gates Mills will benefit Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.

Next, on May 19, 2010 John Robert's professionals will also be providing mini services and TLC to the patients at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital as they have been doing every 3^rd Wednesday of each month since 1993. The other annual event involves gift delivery to the children over the holidays.
